Do you need help getting the federal tax credits for the clean energy project you completed as a public or tax-exempt entity in 2024 or 2025?
Do you want to build affordable, community-owned clean energy like solar, wind, geothermal, EV chargers, or an EV vehicle purchase?
Join us for Local Power: Building Community-Owned Clean Energy with Direct Pay on June 17-18, 2025 in Minneapolis.
This free, in-person convening gathers community organizations, local government officials, union leaders, technical experts, and leaders like you for hands-on workshops highlighting practical tools and strategies for successfully implementing renewable energy projects. We’ll help you navigate the process for claiming Direct Pay tax credits, plan future projects that center equity, justice, and worker power, and find the planning, financing, and filing support to bring your projects to life and maximize their impact.
Now is the time to expand Minnesota’s community-owned clean energy by installing solar panels, geothermal heat pumps, electric vehicles (EVs), and EV charging stations and by creating good, green jobs. Federal tax credits remain available for tax-exempt entities, including local, state, and tribal governments; schools; non-profit organizations; hospitals; and houses of worship to reimburse up to 70 percent of clean energy project costs through Direct Pay tax credits. Getting funds distributed and projects out the door is more important than ever.
We look forward to you joining us for this important convening and hearing about the amazing work underway to advance a sustainable, community-led energy future. Please RSVP by May 30, and help us match you to relevant workshops by providing complete answers on the form.
